We are born with questions, as babies we are inquisitive, we want to learn, we want to grow and we want to evolve. As children one of the first questions and keywords we learn is, “WHY?”.
We may not realise, but we are born into an awakened state of mind. We hear many reports of babies and young children laughing, talking and playing to someone something that wasn’t there. (Spirit) Seen by the innocence of the awakened and unconfirmed mind. This awakened state of mind, I feel somehow is conformed and conditioned out of us as we grow older, first our parents start at home by telling us to stop asking questions, stop asking why, why this, why that.
Then we are taught discipline in the school systems. We get told imaginary friends are not real, we are told what is “Normal”, and acceptable to fit in a conformed society. Where everyone is the same. We want to fit in so we do as we are told, and the fire inside the soul dies down that we are able to function in society. This doesn’t mean that the little voice inside us completely disappears, for those of us that have a true Spiritual purpose, there is always a deep feeling that something is missing from our lives.
When we get old enough and the timing is right, all the pieces start to full into place and our inquisitive mind reemerges we start to ask questions again, for most this leads us on a Spiritual journey of awakening. In Recent years more and more people have been led on this path, simply because the vails between the dimensions have been lifted.
This mass awakening is affecting everyone on an individual scope in many different ways.
We see so many spiritual memes on social media depicting the difference between the perception of a spiritual awakening versus the reality of it. 
The truth, the reality of a spiritual awakening is that it is difficult, messy and it creeps up on you, (like that really annoying neighbour that you really don’t want to talk to and you try to sneak past to get into your house but they’re just there lurking, watching, waiting for you in the driveway every single day with some crazy stories about their life and they just pull you in more and more each time). You don’t want to talk to them, but you just can’t help yourself either, you want to know about their stories.

During the first stages of an awakening things start happening gradually for the majority of people that go searching for the truth. However for some an awakening can be triggered by a sudden significant event in your life and then, you begin to question everything as you have been conditioned to understand it over the years. Your eyes are opening to the truth of your existence and as the saying goes “the truth hurts” or “the truth isn’t pretty”. Neither is an awakening journey at the beginning, it’s amazing what happens when a human being wakes up and opens their eyes, not only do you turn on your internal light but you also start shining brighter and you get noticed by the universe and different energies. As you explore your spiritual path more you will find yourself in weird situations. Weird to what your perception of normal has been conditioned to. Your dreams will become more vivid. You will start to see things in nature a lot more defined and detailed. You will notice people’s personalities and energies a lot more. People you once liked and thought you knew very very well you will no longer want to be around. Some people will want to distance themselves from you. This is all a process of Shedding and Ascension. You’ll find that the more you are send, the more spiritually open you become, the more people that do not vibrate at your level will drop away or distance themselves from you. This journey is a lonely one, and at times a painful one, but in the end a very rewarding one.

The keys to remember while going on this weird, wonderful, painful and rewarding journey are:
You are never alone.
You are stronger than you think.
Forget everything you have ever been taught.
It shows incredible strength to ask for help from those who have walked the path before you.
You are the key to all the answers you are looking for. 
During this whole process you are safe.
Your guides, your angels are with you even though you don’t feel them; they have always been with you, and they are guiding you through this journey.
Be open to receiving the messages, the signs, the symbols and signals that are coming through.
Although you may not understand everything you are receiving at this time, everything has relevance.
All the questions that are in your head have answers, and the answers are in your soul and you are the key to unlocking the connection and the connection is through your heart, be open with love to receiving all that the universe has to offer you. 
Going through a Spiritual awakening is as much a physical experience as it is a Spiritual and emotional one.
Your body is going through this Spiritual Awakening or Energetic Shift of Consciousness and you physically go through many different things.

Riding the Roller coaster of your emotional journey.
This is where you will experience extreme loss of control of your own emotions moving from euphoria to depression as if you feel your emotions flipping like a switch with no apparent reason. This is from your hormones changing through your endocrine system.
One moment you are on top of the world and then all of a sudden, you encounter deep waves of emotion where you will only want to cry. This is not an uncommon thing when you are going through this process, this is just the Solar plexus doing the work that is needed to bring balance to the Heart Centre. The Solar Plexus is the centre of the Ego and as we go through an awakening our emotions are going through a state of repair and healing between unifying the heart and mind as one, bringing you into alignment.

The feeling of Loss, Confusion and like you are having an Identity Crisis, is all part of this weird and wonderful journey. Not only do you experience a feeling of loneliness, but the feelings of confusion, truth and reality weigh heavily on your state of mind as well. It becomes hard to relate to people around you, bringing you down into a deep sadness because you start to feel everyone around you no longer understands you, and isolation builds where you can no longer understand yourself.
Questioning starts on a deeper level; Who you are? What is your path? What is reality itself? Why are we even here? This is the essence of dissociation, when you feel completely disconnected from the reality of what is going on around you and disconnecting with people. During this time you will experience a deep level of questioning of your past decisions. This may effect you as depression. It is important to understand, this is all a necessary process. 
You will develop a deep fear that you cannot deal with the material reality of everyone around you as you go through this ego shedding and healing process. This is a dark time but trust me, all is well and it has a positive outcome. (Much like many lessons in life.) This is where the Ego starts losing its power and control over your consciousness.

Going into the darkness of your soul, connects you to higher frequencies, allowing you to channel a connection to your higher self. This will help you on the awakening journey to finding your true self as you go through this identity Crisis.

Exploring the Darkness of the Soul is a natural part of awakening, it is the shedding and releasing of your old self. It is the letting go and freeing the old souls shadows, so that it can re-emerge into your new evolved consciousness.
Chaos and Drama comes with this process as you will encounter the resistance from your emotional body to let go of all the past freely.
You will have a strong desire to hold onto the old you, because of the fear of the unknown and the safety of the conditioned conformity that has been programmed into you since birth, building a resistance of letting go, which causes a conflict in your soul and creates isolation with those around you.
Everything begins to tear you apart within your reality, your friends, your family, and even those you love the most. You feel that you are unable to connect, because the universe is asking you to look inward, look deep within yourself and question everything, your reality and what is your souls purpose.
This is usually triggered by a dark event in your life, like a death of a loved one, abuse, break up of a relationship, loss of a job, loss of a house, rape, illness, or a significant life altering event etc; that triggers the Ego to react, as your subconscious breaks through. This significant event breaks the ego veil and gives you a look behind your own face into your worst fears and insecurities.
It is about facing your darkest deepest parts of your soul, and realising that there is Divine light everywhere. God is within the darkest places of your own soul.
Reaching into such darkness you will be able to achieve and receive the infinite light for your new being.

You will become sensitive, seeing, feeling the energy, seeing things from the corner of your eye, you may even think it’s a good idea to get your eyes tested! Don’t worry, your eye sight is fine, but you are confused. Why are you seeing these orbs of light that seem to disappear as quickly as they appear? Why do you feel like you are not alone as you walk into a room?
This world is made of energy and once you start awakening, your senses become heightened into seeing beyond the ordinary reality.

You start seeing and feeling different energies all around you and others. You can pick up on people’s energy and emotions very easily as well. All these new things you are experiencing can manifest in many different forms, for example: Seeing orbs of light within peripheral vision, seeing flashes of light, seeing objects or people when you think of a topic, tingling or vibrating feelings from head to toe, feeling a sensation of unexplainable warmth in the hands or feet, swirling orbs of light within the sky, seeing frequency waves in nature. All these are signs of connection and renewed alignment.
You start to feel deeply in tune with Astrological Alignments when your consciousness changes and you become more in alignment with the universal frequency and the natural frequencies of the Earth. When you are more aware you begin to notice the precise patterns of the universe, especially during the moon phases and astrological alignments.
You will begin to understand that everything is connected through the energy and,
you are immensely affected in magnitudes during these events.
Every retrograde, Meteor shower, Solar flare, Equinox, Solstice, Eclipse and or other galactic events.
It is advisable to check out your natal chart to see where your transits are and how they will affect you. The more questions you have answered, the easier your journey will become.
You will have an increase in Intuition and Psychic abilities. You will just know the phone is about to ring, just before it does. You will know what song is playing before you turn on the radio or may seem to find your car keys without much thought after misplacing them. (For me personally it was and still is finding a parking spot no matter what) and people will start to joke about how they feel you can read their minds. You will start to notice these patterns.

What you once knew as paranormal activities is now a part of your everyday life. When you first awaken your senses become sharper, so the desire to think before begins to align with you. Your intuition is guiding you more and more than you ever thought possible. You start to listen to your soul. The voice of Guidance becomes stronger and synchronicities or patterns and messages become too hard to ignore.
You start predicting events before they happen, you can read peoples Aura or Energy, just by looking at them, you will know things about a stranger before you even meet them, at this point you are opening up your abilities and many are individual to you.
You will experience Precognitive dreaming, Channeling, Developing a deep empathy towards people and putting yourself in their shoes you can feel their emotions as if you are your own.
Inner knowing and the more commonly used terms: Clairvoyance, Clairsentience, Clairaudience, Clairscentist, Clairgustant, Claircognizance and the list is endless.
These are exciting times if you embrace them and follow the Guidance you are receiving.
Every experience you have during this process is teaching you a lesson of awakening to prepare you for what comes next. You will start to regain Past life Memories, your Long term Memory is returning and with that you can tap into your own past life memories. These are deeply suppressed memories within your souls blueprint of who you are and were within those various past lifetimes. For some these past life memories appear as flashbacks, daydreams, visions or glimpses into the past where you suddenly remember an instance as if we can feel an emotion you went through at a specific time. It will be such a strong and vivid memory that it will leave you pondering for some time. I have very vivid memories of past lives now, One being of a young girl running between trees near a church, I was about 15 in that life when it came to an untimely end. These flashbacks will bring real confusion into your life because you realise they are not from the life you are currently living.
During this Awakening journey you can easily find yourself connecting through your soul with your Past. Meditation, Past life regression therapists and channeling may help bring more answers forward for you.
You may also experience flashes from other realities/ different timelines or dimensions.
This has become more common in recent years as the vails between dimensions drop. It is a feeling as if you are living inside a dream or you can’t differentiate if this was from a dream or from reality. The feeling as if you are living in multiple realities at once or parallel lives, as the veil lifts around you it is easier to tap into various perceptions of time. Time is more fluid as past, present and future merge as one.

This time in a persons awakening opens very disorienting feelings. You don’t feel grounded during this time because you are opening yourself to different timelines and dimensions in reality. Precognition and retro-cognition can be developed once these symptoms start to happen to you.

• Seeing a Person’s True Form: It’s like staring into a mirror and seeing other reflections of your past lives through your own energy aura. As you get stronger sometimes you can see loved ones or even strangers with a different faces enabling something from their past life or parallel life to come through to you.
• Panic Attacks and Anxiety: I wish it was all rainbows and butterflies, with messages from Angels, but it’s not. Sometimes the energy you feel comes on very strong and emotional, without understanding the reasons behind it you get very angry. You could be in a crowd, with someone, or even a single thought could trigger the anxiety. Regardless the flow of energy within you can be overwhelming as your Ego loses its grip and control, this can cause your brain to move faster than the body. This is called, “blackhole thinking”. Your perception is changing and with that comes a desire to fall into a cycle of past and future thinking enabling fear and Loss.
• Shedding Lower Energy: You start to feel drained, you cannot handle being around certain people anymore and being around them brings you down. You find there is an innate desire within you to find “like-minded” people “Soul Family”, and healthy relationships. You simply can’t tolerate lower vibrational environments, behaviour or toxic and unhealthy relationships any longer. Your Mind, body and Soul are aligning and are longing to move away from the 3d dualistic concepts completely. Now you are in alignment with the higher energies of the New Paradigm, you will start to seek out all that is beneficial for your Spiritual growth.
• Increased Synchronicity, and Signs in your life: You begin to the Synchronicity of certain numbers, they become very predominant in your life with Angelic meanings and symbolism, you may have seen these numbers many times before your awakening without noticing, but now they have a whole new part to play in your life. The most commonly seen numbers at this time are, 11:11, 12:12, 111, 333, 444, 555, 666, 777, etc. The signs you receive increase from you just noticing number synchronicity to you experiencing deja vu, dreams taking form, or certain archetypal symbols appear in your life, songs you have listened to a hundred times will all of a sudden trigger an emotion or new thought. The subconscious is very powerful, it is the key to unlocking your own longterm memory; the signs and messages you receive connect us to our higher self. These signs and message help awaken us.
• Clear Communication with the Higher Self: Solitude becomes your friend for a while at this point. You find yourself talking to yourself or just in general you feel more in tune with listening to the silence, this is where you receive most of your guidance. You’re in no way going crazy but you feel a deep desire to communicate with this “Inner voice” at this point. Many people experience meeting their Spirit Guides or having Angelic communication during these moments. You will find that this is also the frequency where you are able to speak to Spirit, Deceased loved ones, Your Guides, Your Higher Self which is a part of you, and other various Divine Beings. Channeling is becomes more innate and natural to you when you open yourself up to being a receptive channel to the Spirit world and Divine Source, always remembering that message is coming through you as you channel and not from you.
• Creative Desires: Your Soul is awakened and it’s time to emerge and also explore things creatively: cooking, decorating, art, music, etc.
  One aspect of Awakening is that you become more in tune with your subconscious mind.
  You begin releasing the old conformed and conditioned ways of existing. Your Spiritual Mind and way of being is becoming more
  powerful than your previous natural thought process. You create your own reality with the power of your thoughts, this is the universe giving you a sign
  to start creating both literally and figuratively. You have the power to manifest.
• Elation of High Frequency living: Once you have reached a stage of being fully Awakened you begin to feel more at peace with yourself and your reality. This creates moments of inner peace and absolute bliss in your life. You finally realise you are seeing beyond the illusions of conformity. You understand that you are not are alone, you have guidance, solitude is peaceful, all the vails have been dropped.

I have found that over the years my Journey of Spiritual Awakening has been an emotional, inward spiral of gathering, knowledge, guidance and wisdom.
I know that you never stop Evolving and Awakening, Just as there are always new and wondererous discoveries being made everyday in our universe.
Having an infinite Soul is the same, you will be constantly learning, growing and discovering things about your inner self.
