Money Bowl Spell

There’s something deeply spiritual about creating space for what we wish to call into our lives. Whether it’s peace, love, clarity, or financial support—we are always in conversation with the Universe. And the way we invite these blessings in matters.

One of my favorite sacred rituals is the creation of a Money Bowl—not just a symbol of abundance, but a living, breathing prayer. A container of hope. A daily reminder that you are not alone in your desire to be supported. You are co-creating with Spirit.

This isn’t just about money. This is about alignment. Receiving. Nourishment. Trust. Expansion. Money is just one form that abundance takes. This ritual invites you to energetically open the door and say, “Yes, I am ready to be provided for.”

Let’s walk through this together, step by step—with full presence, full heart, and open hands.

STEP ONE: Choosing Your Bowl – A Vessel for Your Dreams

The bowl you choose is more than a container—it’s a sacred symbol. It represents the womb of the Earth, the soul’s readiness to receive, and the intuitive belief that your needs will be met.

Choose something that resonates. This could be:

• A brass bowl (brass vibrates with grounding and prosperity)

• A ceramic piece made by hand (infused with creation energy)

• A wooden bowl (natural, rooted, and connected to ancestral energy)

• A family heirloom or a thrifted treasure (adding layers of story and soul)

I personally use a brass bowl with circles on it —because to me, gold reflects prosperity and circular motion reflect the universes never-ending cycle of abundance. When one door closes, ten more open. That is how I see wealth: ever-regenerating.

(As well as my infinite love for anything gold.)

Let your bowl speak to you. When you hold it, it should feel sacred. Loved. Blessed.

STEP TWO: Gathering the Ingredients – Calling in the Elements of Wealth

Every ingredient you place into your Money Bowl carries a vibration. Each one represents something physical, emotional, and spiritual. You are creating a microcosm of the abundance you wish to see in your outer world.

Here’s a list of what you can include—trust your intuition to guide what feels right:

1. Coins
Symbol of tangible wealth. Metal also conducts energy, attracting and anchoring prosperity.

2. Paper Money
Use any currency. I like including various types to represent multiple streams of income and unexpected blessings from unexpected places.

3. Crystals
These are the spiritual powerhouses. Choose what resonates:

• Citrine – Pure wealth vibration. A stone of joy, success, and manifestation.

• Pyrite – Known as “Fool’s Gold,” but nothing foolish here. It’s protective and draws in abundance with strength.

• Green Aventurine – The “gambler’s stone” that brings luck and opens doors. It also heals the heart chakra, helping you feel safe to receive.

4. Herbs and Spices
These are Earth’s ancient abundance tools.

• Basil – For success and wealth.

• Cinnamon sticks – For speed, momentum, and financial healing.

• Bay leaf – Write your wish, goal, or number on it. As it dries and rests in the bowl, it holds the energy of your intention.

• Pumpkin Pie Spice – A powerful blend of abundance-related herbs, associated with harvest, sweetness, and prosperity.

5. Essential Oils
Anoint the bowl or its contents with:

• Bergamot – To uplift your energy and attract opportunities.

• Patchouli – Deep, earthy, grounding, and powerful for wealth manifestation.

• Lavender – Optional, but beautiful if you wish to call in abundance with ease, flow, and peace.

6. Rice
This forms the base. Rice symbolises sustenance, nourishment, and the idea that what you need will always be provided.In many cultures, rice is a sign of luck and fertility.

7. Salt
Always a little—sprinkle it into the rice. Salt purifies and protects. It keeps the energy clean so that only blessings with good intent can enter.

8. Candle
Green (money), orange (success + opportunity), or white (divine guidance + purity of intent).
Place it in the center of your bowl. Carve your name, a money symbol, or a power word into the wax.

STEP THREE: Assembling Your Money Bowl – A Sacred Act of Creation

Find a quiet, comfortable space. Light a candle. Breathe deeply. Set the intention to create this bowl from a place of love, clarity, and worthiness.

1. Cleanse your space
You can use incense, sage, or simply the flame of your candle. Invite the energy of divine abundance to join you.

2. Begin with the rice
This is your foundation. Spread it in the base of the bowl.

3. Sprinkle in the salt
As you do, say: “I call in blessings with pure intent. May what arrives be in harmony with my soul.”

4. Place the candle in the center
This is the heart of your spell. The fire that transforms energy.

5. Add your coins and paper money
Place them around the candle. As you do, visualise money flowing into your life. Not from stress, not from force, but from trust.

6. Place the crystals
One by one, speak their names and what they represent. “This is Citrine for joy and wealth. This is Pyrite for protection and prosperity…”

7. Add your herbs and spices
Let your hands move naturally, placing each with love and gratitude.

8. Drop in your essential oils
Just a drop or two. Let the scent activate the energy.

STEP FOUR: Activation – Speaking Life Into the Spell

This is where the magic becomes real. Your intention fuels the bowl, and your words set it into motion.

Light the candle, close your eyes, and say the following mantra aloud:

“By earth, by flame, by coin and leaf,
I call in wealth beyond belief.
Flow to me with steady grace,
Prosperity, now find your place.
With heart aligned and soul set free,
Abundance flows with ease to me.”

Feel those words in your bones. Let them ripple outward through your home, your heart, your timeline. Let the Universe hear you.

You are not begging.
You are not pleading.
You are remembering that you are always supported.

STEP FIVE: Tending to Your Bowl – Keep the Energy Alive

This is not a “set it and forget it” ritual. This is a living relationship. Here’s how to keep the energy open and flowing:

• Visit it daily. Even for just 30 seconds. Touch it. Thank it. Say the mantra. Add a pinch of spice or a coin.

• Give it gratitude. Talk to it like an old friend. Let it know you trust the process.

• Refresh it regularly. I like to refresh mine monthly or with the new moon. Discard old bay leaves, herbs, or expired energy. Cleanse and recreate with fresh focus.

• Trust what shifts. Sometimes abundance comes in ways we don’t expect—an opportunity, a discount, a new connection, a sudden clarity. All of it counts.

Spiritual Wisdom: Why This Works

This isn’t just about “thinking positive” or doing a spell and walking away. This is about:

• Energetic alignment. When your inner world believes you’re safe to receive, your outer world mirrors that.

• Repetition and presence. Daily connection builds a frequency of expectancy.

• Sacred symbolism. You are communicating with Spirit using the language of nature, earth, and intention. The Universe responds to energy, not desperation.

You are not asking for a miracle. You ARE the miracle.

This bowl just reminds you of what you already are: open, abundant, powerful, and infinitely supported.
